ACODEV started partnership with SCIU in 2012 under the Maternal Neonatal Child Health project, this started in Kasese district under a 2years contract where both ACODEV and SCI continued to grow the relationship through realizing project performances in terms of meeting targets, and proper accountability to the mothers and children we serve. More opportunities continue to emerge for ACODEV in this relationship through capacity strengthening, information sharing with key best practices in health programming for children in Kasese district. This relationship has moved to high levels to-date where ACODEV is engaged even more than ever before with SCIU through current and BIG projects such as Keep It Real (Sexuality Education) in KCCA targeting in and out of school adolescents and the Integrated Right to Education & Participation Project in Luwero, Nakaseke and Nakasongola districts respectively targeting children.
