We work with communities to prevent violence against women and Men and strengthens their capacities to respond to its devastating effects  on individuals, families and communities in Eastern and Southern Africa. This program component has enabled ACODEV;

  • To strengthen community’s capacity to challenge the social-cultural attitudes, perceptions, beliefs and practices that perpetuates Violence against Women and Men.
  • To promote men’s engagement in preventing and responding to violence against women and men at all levels.
  • To strengthen the capacity of community structures in ensuring that violence survivors have access to justice and other social services
