Catholic Relief Services logoWith funding from USAID, Action for Community Development (ACODEV), in partnership with Catholic Relief Services (CRS) as the Prime; and other Implementing partners (IPs) including: TPO Uganda, African Network for Prevention and Protection against Child Abuse and Neglect (ANPPCAN), Centre for Creative Leadership (CCL), Living Goods, IRH, Palladium and Government of Uganda, is implementing a 5 year program: Sustainable Outcomes for Children and Youth in Central and Western Uganda.
The program goal is: “Improved Wellbeing of Children and youth orphaned and made vulnerable by HIV and other adversaries in Uganda;”

To realize this, the program focuses on 3 Result Areas:(1) OVC, Youth and their Caregivers are Economically Empowered to effectively access core services; (2) Local government and CSOs increase and improve core services delivery to OVCs, Youth and their caregivers and; (3) Improved coordination of community based clinical and socio-economic services for efficiency and effectiveness along the continuum of care.
ACODEV is implementing the Program in 4 districts and 94 Sub-counties across the western region: Kasese (29 Sub-counties), Kamwenge (15 Sub-counties), Kibaale (35 Sub-counties), and Kyenjojo (15 Sub-counties).
